Notes:
1. One ERU factor is equivalent to 300 gallons per day.
2. For all establishments not listed in the table in this Subsection, the total equivalent
residential unit (ERU) value shall be determined by multiplying the number of fixture units, as
published in the Southern Standard Plumbing Code, by 25, and then dividing that numerator by
300 (gallons per day per ERU), then multiplying by $2,078.00.
Total ERU Value = Number of fixture units x 25/300
For example, the Southern Standard Plumbing Code indicates that a kitchen sink has a fixture
unit value of 2. To determine the total fee, take the 2, multiply by 25, then divide by 300, then
multiply by $2,078.00:
2 x 25/300 X $2,078.00 = $346.33
3. For industrial facilities or other facilities where the schedule or formula set out in this
Subsection is not applicable, the equivalent ERUs and flows shall be evaluated on an individual
basis to determine the sewer charge fees.
(2) Connection charge. There is hereby established a one -time connection charge
as set forth below, for all connections made to the sewer system:
1.000
300
078.00/ toilet
room
Theater
0.017
5
34.63/ seat
Trailer park (overnight)
0.500
150
1,039.00/ space
Dentist's office
0.833
0.667
249
00
1,724.74/ dentist
1,3 85.33/ wet chair
Doctor's office
0.833
249
1,724.74/ doctor
Church
0.017
5
34.63/ seat
Hospital
0.833
249
1,724.74/ bed
Nursing home
0.417
125
865.83/ bed
Day school
0.083
25
173.17 /student
Boarding school
0.25
75
519.50/ student
Notes:
1.
