CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />The City Council of the City of Casselberry held a continued <br />meeting on Monday, June 25, 1984, 7:30 P.M., Casselberry City Hall. <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT: <br />Charles H. Glascock, Mayor <br />Carl Robertson, Chairman <br />Frank Stone, Vice Chairman <br />Richard Russo, Councilman <br />Thomas Embree, Councilman <br />Al Harmon, Councilman <br />STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Ned Julian, Jr., Acting City Attorney <br />Linda Zike, City Clerk <br />Thelma McPherson, Executive Secretary <br />Barry Campbell, City Planner <br />Frank Broyles, Building Official <br />Frederick McGowan, Police Chief <br />Paul Algeri, Fire Chief <br />Kenneth Ehlers, City Engineer <br />Ed L. Keuling, Jr., Director of Utilities <br />Mr. Robertson asked if there was anyone in the audience with a <br />matter to bring before Council that was not on the Agenda. <br />Mrs. Eva Moore, 150 Park Drive, restated a complaint she had <br />brought to the attention of Council four week previously, wherein she requested <br />dirt be put on Park Drive to correct the condition of the road caused by con- <br />tinuous grading. Mayor Glascock said he had been working on this situation <br />for some time. The City of Casselberry went into an extensive program for <br />this area and applied for a State Community Grant in the amount of $750,000, <br />to be used to completely rework the roads . The Grant was turned down but <br />we are now in the process of resubmitting the application. The concensus of <br />Council was for some type of temporary action and asked that the Administration <br />put down a reasonable amount of clay to help the situation until a more perma- <br />nent solution is reached. <br />Mrs. William Tingle, 282 Ivey Road, wanted to know when the <br />ballfield lights at Secret Lake Park would be adjusted. Mayor Glascock said <br />the contractor who had installed the lights had communicated with Mr. Booker <br />and indicated an adjustment was scheduled. Mayor Glascock said the bond would <br />not be released until such time as the lights were adjusted. <br />
