CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />The City of Casselberry Community Redevelopment Agency held a meeting on Thursday, December 15, <br />2011, at 9:00 a.m. in the Casselberry City Hall, Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Members present: <br />Paul Daigle, Chairman <br />John Jones, Vice-Chairman <br />Alan Trueba <br />Glenn Ritchie <br />Leslie Peters <br />Members absent: <br />David McGregor <br />John Stark <br />Staff members present: <br />Donald Martin, Community Development Director <br />Barbara Lipscomb, City Manager <br />Pamela Lynch, Economic Development Coordinator <br />Joni Dixon, Secretary <br />First Item of Business: Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order by Mr. Jones at 9:15 a.m. <br />Second Item of business: Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mr. Jones led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Third Item of business: Consideration of Two Proposals to Purchase the Target Outparcels located on the <br />east side of U.S.17.92 between Triplet Lake Drive and Melody Lane. <br />Mr. Martin explained that the CRA received two proposals for the purchase of the Target Outparcels located <br />on the east side of US Highway 17-92 between Triplet Lake Drive and Melody Lane. Mr. Martin turned the meeting <br />over to Mr. Steve Triece, The Triece Company. Mr. Triece said the CRA hired him as the real estate broker to sell <br />the Target Outparcels. He said there was a sales strategy which was predicated upon achieving the CRA's objective <br />to have this property redeveloped in a manner that fits within the plan that was adopted by the CRA for the <br />community. He said a preliminary analysis was done to determine a fair market value price for the property and it <br />was approved by the CRA to proceed with the marketing. Mr. Triece said they instituted that policy by advertising in <br />the open market in the manner in which it would be exposed to as many potential buyers that would be willing to <br />
