FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br /> <br />A. First Reading: Ordinance 12-1373 - Amendments to Chapter 14, Article II, Special Events, <br />Open air sales, etc. - Issuance of special event permits and alcoholic beverage licenses. <br />Consideration of Ordinance 12-1373 on first reading to amend the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances Chapter 14, <br />Amusements, to exempt City parks that are designated as "Special Use" Parks, from the permitting requirements and <br />criteria established for special events, open air sales, open air food sales, and seasonal sales is requested. This ordinance <br />also requests an amendment to eliminate City Commission review of alcoholic beverage permits for City parks, placing <br />the responsibility with the Administrative Official and includes additional minor procedural amendments. <br /> <br />B. First Reading: Ordinance 12-1374 - Amend City Code Chapter 26, Businesses, Amend Local <br />Business Tax Schedule <br />Consideration of Ordinance 12-1374 on first reading to amend the Local Business Tax Schedule to provide an across the <br />board 5% increase to all business taxes within the City as provided for evelY two years by Florida Statute 205.0535 is <br />requested. <br /> <br />C. Requests for Reduction of Multiple Code Enforcement Liens at 1810 SR 436 <br />Consideration to reduce two separate code enforcement liens on the property located at 1810 SR 436 for case numbers <br />CE-11-01142 (lien amount $14,400) and CE-11-01143 (lien amount $9,850) from a total of $24,250 to $6,000 to be paid <br />within 60 days is requested. <br />
