Presentation: The Children's Cabinet of Seminole County <br />A presentation will be given by Tara Hormel, Vice Chair of The Children's Cabinet of Seminole County, to update the <br />City Commission on the efforts of the organization. <br /> <br />B. Presentation: Effective Advocacy and Florida League of Cities Initiatives <br />A presentation to brief the City Commission on the Florida League of Cities advocacy efforts will be given by Kathy Till, <br />President, Kathy Till & Associates. <br /> <br />7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Persons who wish to make comment or make inquiry on any matter NOT ON TillS AGENDA may do so at this time. Please <br />raise your hand and when recognized by the Mayor, come forward to the microphone, give your name and address and speak <br />briefly on the matter. All comments must be directed to the Mayor or City Commission as a whole, not an individual City <br />Commissioner, a City staff member 01' another member of the audience. Citizens may be heard during PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />01' at any time any agenda item is before the City Commission for consideration by following the same procedure described <br />above. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA <br />The action proposed to be taken is stated for each item on the Consent Agenda. Unless the item is removed from the Consent <br />Agenda by a City Commission member, no discussion on individual items will occur and a single motion will approve all <br />items. <br /> <br />A. Excuse of Absence from Commissioner Sandra Solomon <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon has advised that she will be absent from the June II, 2012 City Commission meeting and <br />has requested that her absence be excused. <br />
