hereto, be and they are hereby annexed to and included within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida. <br />SECTION 2: The Corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, be and they are hereby <br />revised to include the land described in Section 1 hereof. <br />SECTION 3: The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida does hereby find the lands <br />described in Section 1 are contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, that said <br />meet the criteria established by Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, that said lands should be annexed. <br />SECTION 4: Upon annexation, the lands described in Section 1 shall retain a zoning and land <br />use classification established by the Seminole County Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Land-Use <br />Plan until otherwise changed or amended by appropriate ordinance of the City of Casselberry, Florida. <br />SECTION 5: All real property lying within the boundaries of the corporate limits of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida, as hereby revised, shall be assessed for payment of municipal ad valorem taxes <br />pursuant to law. <br />SECTION 6: All persons who have been lawfully engaged in any occupation, business, trade or <br />profession within the area described in Section 1 above, upon the effective date of this ordinance under a <br />valid license or permit therefore issued by Seminole County, Florida, shall have the right to continue such <br />occupation, business, trade or profession within the entire corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, as <br />revised, upon securing of a valid Business Tax Receipt from the City of Casselberry, which license shall be <br />issued upon payment of the appropriate fee therefore, without the necessity of taking or passing any <br />examination or test relating to the qualifications of such licenses. <br />SECTI®N 7: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file certified copies of this ordinance with the <br />Department of State of the State of Florida and the Seminole County Clerk of the Circuit Court. The City <br />Clerk is also hereby directed to file copies of this ordinance with the County Manager of Seminole County, <br />the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, the Seminole County Property <br />Appraiser, the Seminole County Tax Collector and the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections within <br />seven (7) days after adoption of this ordinance. <br />SECTION B: Conflicts. All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions <br />of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 9: Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of <br />any other Section or part of this Ordinance, <br />SECTION i0: Effective Date.
