Resolution 11-2288 - FY 2011 Third Quarter Budget Amendment "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2010 AND ENFING SEPTEMBER 30, 2011; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 11-2288 provides for formal adoption of budget amendments approved during the third quarter of FY 2011. Budget Impact: The third quarter budget amendment spreadsheet details changes in fiord balance as a result of rolled over budget items from Fiscal Yeat• 2010 and Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2011. These changes are presented in summary in the attachment to the resolution ad reflect changes to the individual fund balances. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 11- 2288. MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved approve the Consent Agenda, as plesented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. 9o PIJ LIC EA NG~ A. Second Reading of Ordinance 11-1353 -Annual Capital Improvement Schedule (LPA 11-01~ The City Clerk read Ordinance 11-13 53 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, UPDATING THE CITY'S 5- YEARCAPITAL IIVIPROVEMENTS SCHEDULE FOR 2010/11 THROUGH 2014/15; INCLUDING THE UPDATED 5-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT SCHEDULE INTO THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS OF THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1353 was published inthe Orlando Sentinel on June 2, 2011. The Growth Management Act was recently amended by the State Legislature making only one advertised public hearing required. The advertisement on Jlme 2"a was accomplished prior to the first reading of this ordinance.
