Sole Source Purchase from Vulcan Industries Inc. for Screen Filter and Press <br />Rehabilitation Services & Related Budget Amendment #11-041 <br />Introduction: This item requests approval of a sole source purchase from Vulcan Industries in the amount of <br />$64,095.00 for rehabilitation of the screen filter and press at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and related <br />Budget Amendment #11-041. <br />Budget Impact: Funds to cover rehabilitation of this equipment will be reassigned from the cancellation of <br />another budgeted proj ect. Budget Amendment # 11-041 is provided to cover the transfer of fiords to Account <br />No. 402-0753-535-63-21. <br />BA# 11-041: <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to appropriate funding in the Utility <br />Renewal and Replacement Fund (402) for renovation of the screen and rakes within the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant. The project will be a sole solace purchase from Vulcan Industries estimated to be $64,905. Funding is <br />to be reassigned from the cancellation of another project in the Renewal and Replacement Fund for <br />refurbishment and rebuilding of Dynasand Filtration. This project was budgeted at $150,000.
