CITY C E ' S P T <br />® No report. <br />17e CITY C SIDE S' EP TS/C EI~TTS <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner -Seat No. 1: <br />® Commented on the CRA's recent disapproval of the Breakfast Club's subsidy request and suggested <br />the Commission review and possibly reduce impact fees rather than have that review be conducted by <br />the CRA. The City Manager stated the impacts were scheduled to be reviewed next fiscal year. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon -Seat No. 3: <br />® Commented on the current negotiations with the City of Longwood regarding the consolidation of Fire <br />services between the two cities, and felt it was time for the two City Commissions to hold a joint <br />meeting on the matter. The City Manager stated the reports were sent to the Longwood Interim City <br />Administrator on Friday, July 8~~' who will be briefing his Commission on the matter and will get let <br />her know if their Commission wishes to meet on the matter. <br />® Suggested modifying the name of the Neighborhood Improvements Project to the Neighborhood <br />Maintenance Project. <br />® Noted a new restaurant, the Breakfast Club, is scheduled to open up to the Publix on 17-92 within the <br />next 2-3 weeks. Stated she was disappointed by the CRA recent disapproval of the restaurant's <br />owner's subsidy request for $3,300. <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford -Seat No. 4: <br />® Stated she was disappointed by the CRA disapproval of the Breakfast Club's subsidy request made at <br />the July 8t~' meeting. <br />® Stated she was looking forward to discussing fire consolidation with the Longwood City Commission. <br />® Thanked Maria Simmons for her service to the City and wished her good luck with her new job as the <br />Director of the Maitland Chamber of Commerce. <br />
