Christian Bass, 17 Jackson Ct, stated he has been living at this location for over 10 years. Mr. Bass stated <br />his vehicle was one of the cleanest and newest on the block and no one has issues with it. He then stated <br />in numerous cases when laws like this have been passed of this nature there have been grandfather <br />clause put in place. <br />MOTION: Mr. Herron moved to find Respondent(s) in this case in violation of the City Code as charged <br />and that Respondent(s) correct the violation before 1:00 p.m. on 12/06/2011. In the event Respondent <br />does not comply by this date, a fine in the amount of $25.00 per day will be imposed for each day the <br />violation continues past the aforestated date. The Respondent(s) is/are further ordered to contact the <br />Code Compliance Officer to verify compliance with this Order. Mr. Henson seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Overgrown Property, City Code Section 70-2(C) <br />® CE-11-02348 1965 Cree Trl <br />Ms. Broman, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above case. <br />MOTION: Ms. Hale moved to find Respondent in this case in violation of the City Code as charged and <br />that Respondent correct the violation before 1:00 p.m. on 11/17/2011. In the event Respondent does not <br />comply by this date, a fine in the amount of $ 25.00 per day will be imposed for each day the violation <br />continues past the aforestated date. The Respondent is further ordered to contact the Code Compliance <br />Officer to verify compliance with this Order. Mr. Henson seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Boat(s)/trailers, City Code Section 3-10.9 (2) <br />® CE-11-02401 851 N Triplet Lake Dr <br />Mr. Rivera, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above case. He then stated this case was <br />found in compliance earlier in the day and a Standing Order was being requested. <br />MOTION: Ms. Hale moved to find Respondent(s) in this case was/were in violation of City Code as <br />charged and failed to correct the violation by the time specified for correction by the Code Compliance <br />Officer; that the violation is now corrected and no fine imposed. Any violation of the same code by <br />Respondent(s) within FIVE (5) years from the date of this Order shall be treated as a repeat violation, for <br />which a fine of up to $500.00 per day may be imposed. Mr. Herron seconded the motion. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Trash & debris, City Code Section 70-2(C) <br />® CE-11-02459 1395 Lake Dr/ repeat violation <br />Unsafe residential building, Standard Housing Code 103.2.1 <br />® CE-11-02460 1395 Lake Dr <br />Ms. Broman, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above case. Ms. Broman provided <br />documentation from the Building Inspector that made the determination the building was unsafe. <br />MOTION: Ms. Hale moved to find Respondents in these cases in violation of the City Code as charged <br />and that Respondents correct the violations before 1:00 p.m. on 11/17/2011. In the event Respondent <br />does not comply by this date, a fine in the amount of $100.00 per case per day will be imposed for each <br />day the violations continue past the aforestated date. The Respondents are further ordered to contact the <br />Code Compliance Officer to verify compliance with this Order. I find that the violations constitute a serious <br />threat to the public health, safety and welfare and in the event the Respondent does not correct the <br />violation by the date set in this order, the city commission shall be notified and appropriate action should <br />be taken by the City to bring the property into compliance.
