Kevin Bittman, 140 N Triplet Lake Dr, Casselberry FL, stated Mr. Rivera was correct, there have been vehicles parked in his yard. MOTION: Ms. Hale moved to find Respondent(s) in these cases were in violation of City Code as charged and failed to correct the violation by the time specified for correction by the Code Compliance Officer; that the violations are now corrected and no fine imposed. Any violation of the same code by Respondent(s) within FIVE (5) years from the date of this Order shall be treated as a repeat violation, for which a fine of up to $500.00 per day may be imposed. I@EC~UE~T FOR RE®UCTION/WAIVEIR OF FINE Business tax receipt, City Code Section 26.33 ® CE-09-03981 609 Brittany Ct Business tax receipt, City Code Section 26.33 ® CE-11-00228 609 Brittany Ct Ms. Broman, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above cases. Alexis Lorenzo, 609 Brittany Ct, Casselberry FL, advised the Code Enforcement Board that this business was his fathers and he was no longer able to work. Mr. Lorenzo stated he put the business in his name to help his father out. Also his brother passed away during the time of the violations. MOTION: Mr. Henson moved in CEB # 09-03981 that the Board recommend to the City Commission that the lien will be reduced in this case from $300.00 to $150.00, to be paid within 60 days of the commission's order or the fine reverts to the original fine amount. The reason for this reduction is: financial consideration and communication issues. Ms. Hale seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. MOTION: Mr. Henson moved in CEB # 11-00228 that the Board recommend to the City Commission that the lien will be reduced in this case from $6,350 to zero dollars. The reason for this reduction is: The business was not operating in the City of Casselberry. Ms. Hale seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
