CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at 6:30 P.M., <br />in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Members present were: <br />Luis Guzman, Vice-Chairman <br />Earl McMullen <br />Stanley Weinroth <br />Phyllis Wallace, Alternate <br />Members absent were: <br />Mary Anne Gauvin, Chairman <br />Staff members present: <br />Eric Raasch, Planner I <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br />First Item of Business: Call to Order/Roll Call <br />The meeting was called to order by Mr. Guzman at 6:30 p.m. Roll was called; a quorum was present. <br />Second Item of Business: Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mr. Guzman led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Third Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, June 23, 2011. <br />Mr. Guzman stated the Chairwould entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes forthe public hearing held <br />on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Mr. Weinroth moved to accept the June 23, 2011 minutes. Mr. McMullen seconded the <br />motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Fourth Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex-Pane communications. <br />No disclosure of Ex Parte Communications was made by the Commissioners. <br />Fifth Item of Business: BA 11-06 4460 South US Highway 17.92-Taco Bell. Appeal of a determination by the <br />Administrative Official related to signage. <br />Mr. Guzman asked the applicant to come fonnrard. Ms. Alice Murphy, Construction Manager, 2017 Redhouse <br />Road, Richmond, Kentucky; Mr. John Williamson, Projecx Group, 2801 Irondale, Deltona, Florida; and Ms. Sara Scott, <br />Projecx Group, 4 Spring Glen Drive, DeBary, Florida came forward. Mr. Williamson said that Taco Bell was recently <br />renovated and Taco Bell would like to add three illuminated flying arch structures to the facade. He said in the past the <br />process of installing and permitting the arches was considered as part of the building structure and not signage. Mr. <br />
