Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />March 23, 2011 <br />Page 6 <br />A general discussion ensued regarding establishing cash for gold businesses as anon-traditional use, <br />adding monitoring requirements for cash for gold businesses, the City lacking the authority to enforce monitoring <br />requirements, and posting of the market price of gold. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address MISC 11-03. Mr. Aramendia recommended denial of MISC 11- <br />03 Cash for Gold Regulations based on staff memo dated March 23, 2011 from Mr. Sorensen to the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission as presented.
