Should the applicant choose to plant the trees on the site, the trees shall meet the minimum size <br />requirement of 2.5" DBH for each tree planted. The applicant may also coordinate with staff in order to <br />provide additional materials on site in order to reduce the required contribution. <br />3. All of the above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed within three months of the making of this <br />determination or the landscape restoration plan shall become null and void. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. David Bajune, 391 Melody Lane, Casselberry, <br />Florida came forward. In response to the Commission's question regarding planting a small tree as a replacement <br />tree, Mr. Bajune said at this time he would prefer not to plant a replacement tree due to liability concerns. Mr. Bajune <br />requested favorable action on the tree replacement waiver. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the requesf. No one came forward. <br />After a brief discussion, Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address SPR 10-19. Mr. Aramendia <br />recommended approval of SPR 10-19, Thermocarbon tree waiver, as presented. Mr. Aramendia suggested regulating this type of business similar to the <br />regulations for pawn shops. Mr. Raasch said he would discuss the requirements with Ms. Dixon. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Raasch stated that the next meeting is scheduled for <br />February 9, 2011. <br />
