Family Fun Day <br />Family Fun Day at Secret Lake Park will be run by Class Athlete again this year. The <br />event will be held on August 27tH <br />Parks and Recreation Summer Schedule <br />Ms. Simmons asked the Board if they'd like to take a month off from meeting this <br />summer. No decision was made. The Board will discuss/decide at the next meeting. <br />City Hall- New Hours of ®peration <br />Beginning Monday, July 11, 2011 Casselberry City Hall, including Police, Fire and <br />Public Works administration buildings, will shift to a four-day schedule with extended <br />hours in the mornings and afternoons. New business hours will be Monday -Thursday <br />from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. City buildings will be closed for public business on Fridays. <br />Recreation Center programming, special events and Art House classes and exhibit <br />openings usually occur on Fridays or Saturdays. Recreation staff won't be able to have <br />Fridays off and will have an alternate day off. <br />Staff Report <br />® Ms. Simmons said the Earth Day Celebration was a great success. Over 1,000 <br />people attended. The money raised will go to Friends of the Park. Over 249 <br />trees were given away. <br />Board Member Reports <br />Ms. Keys said she was approached by a young adult who suggested a drive in type <br />movie across from City Hall in the open field. Ms. Simmons thanked her for the <br />suggestion and said she'd research this. <br />Mr. Mason mentioned that a group of PTA members will be working together to provide <br />lunches for children throughout the summer. <br />Audience Participation <br />None <br />Adjournment <br />Ms. Keys moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m. Ms. Evans seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed unanimously. ~ <br />I1!
