RESOLUTION 11-2220 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND <br />SEMINOLE COUNTY RELATING TO THE FY 2011 BOATING IMPROVEMENT <br />GRANT PROGRAM FOR PASSIVE BOATING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, passive boating systems are a valuable asset to the vibrancy of a <br />community, providing outlets and opportunities for both recreation and education; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has approved by separate resolution passive boating <br />improvements at Secret Lalce Park; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 14, 2010, the Seminole County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved a grant application from the City of Casselberry for passive boating <br />improvements at North Lake Triplet, Middle Lake Triplet and South Lake Triplet; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into agreement with Seminole County for the <br />purpose of receiving the grant funds associated with the 2011 Seminole County Boating <br />Improvement Program in the amount of $6,595.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves an <br />agreement with Seminole County for the Boating Improvement Grant Pt•ogram (Attachment A) <br />and authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement on behalf of the City Commission. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Sevetability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or Luiconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
