Noted several people have mentioned it to her. <br />® Voiced concerns regarding excessive code fines accruing and property owners not bringing the <br />property alto compliance. The City Attorney explained the options available including foreclosure <br />nuisance abatement. Voice fiuther concerns regarding maintenance of landscaping issues with <br />commercial properties within the City. The CityManager explained that ifthe landscaping is included <br />in the site plan approval, it can be enforced, but landscaping may not have been included in some of <br />the older commercial developments. Further stated staff could contact the property owners to see if <br />they will address any landscaping concerns. <br />® Voiced concerns abotirt recent criminal activity and news reports of criminals being from Casselberry. <br />Proposed the City Commission consider establishing requirements that property owners that have <br />more than five rentals inside the city limits be required to conduct criminal background checks and file <br />the background checks with the City. <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford -Seat No. 4: <br />® Reported she attended the Earth Day celebration held at Lake Concord Park on Apri123`d <br />Commissioner Jon Miller -Seat No. 2: <br />® Stated he was interested in exploring all the available nuisance abatement options available to the City. <br />® Requested a status update regarding the Red Bug flyover project. Mr. Marls Gisclar, Public Works <br />Director, reported the project has been delayed due to a legal objection to award of bid by Seminole <br />County. <br />
