<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 26, 2009 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of16 <br /> <br />Introduction: Resolution 09-2002 provides for approval of Change Order No. 10, submitted by PRIME <br />Construction Group, Inc. for constructing infrastructure components recommended by the Public Works <br />Department to improve the North Winter Park Drive Project - Phase 1. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Funds for Change Order No. 10 in the amount of$91,177.78 are available in the following <br />Public Works Capital Improvement Fund accounts: Infrastructure Surtax Fund Account No. 114-0710-541- <br />63.10 - $83,149.30; and New Sewer Lines Account No. 403-751-536-63.12 - $8,028.48. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />09-2002. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 09-2005 - FY 2009 First Quarter Budget Amendment <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,2008 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER30, 2009; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Introduction: Resolution 09-2005 provides for formal adoption of budget amendments approved during the <br />first quarter of Fiscal Year 2009. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: The listed changes increased reliance on fund balance in the General Fund by $505,908 for <br />Sausalito traffic calming and a new blade server (re-budgeted), in the Local Option Gas Tax Fund by <br />$90,0000 for Seminola/Winter Park Drive traffic signal replacement, in the Stormwater Fund by $724,908 <br />for NRCS projects and Niblick Drive emergency repairs, in the CRA Fund by $10,000 (re-budgeted) for <br />purchase of public art, in the Tree Replacement Fund by $26,886 for the purchase of trees at various parks, <br />Seminola median landscape improvements (re-budgeted), and U.S. Highway 17-92 median improvements <br />(re-budgeted), and in the Capital Improvement Fund by $385,000 for Seminola sanitary sewer extensions (re- <br />budgeted) and a Winter Springs water interconnect (re-budgeted). <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 09- <br />2005. <br /> <br />D. Sole Source Purchase of Lift Station Telemetry Control Units <br /> <br />Introduction: This agenda item requests approval for the sole source purchase of six lift station Telemetry <br />Control Units from Data Flow Systems. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Funds were budgeted to cover the total purchase price of this equipment in the amount of <br />$27,486 and are available in the Public Works Lift Stations Pumps and Related Equipment Account No. 401- <br />752-535.67-76. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval ofthe sole <br />source purchase of six lift station Telemetry Control Units. <br />
