All were present. <br /> <br />5. MINUTES <br /> <br />A. Minutes of January 12,2009 - Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller moved to approve the regular <br />meeting minutes of January 12, 2009 as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />A. Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting <br /> <br />The City Manager presented the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the <br />Government Finance Officers Association to Mr. Randy Newlon, Finance Director. <br /> <br />B. Annual State of the County Luncheon <br /> <br />The Honorable Michael McLean, Seminole County Commissioner, came forward and addressed the City <br />Commission regarding the upcoming Annual State ofthe County Luncheon to be held on Friday, February <br />13,2009. <br /> <br />C. Presentation - City/County Fire-Rescue Services Delivery <br /> <br />Fire Chief Donald Harkins gave a presentation onjoint City/County fire services. A copy of the presentation <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Fire Chief Harkins announced that Seminole County Fire <br />ChiefLeeanna Raw and Seminole County Public Safety Director Tad Stone were both present at the meeting. <br />It was noted that numbers provided in the presentation were cursory and did not have any in-depth analysis. <br /> <br />7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments.
