RESOLUTION 10-2210 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RATIFYING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE UNITED SERVICE WORKERS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry and the United Service Workers have negotiated a proposed agreement modifying the current agreement and extending the agreement for three years through September 30, 2013; and WHEREAS, United Services Workers leadership has endorsed and submitted the agreement to the employees represented by the unit; and WHEREAS, the employees represented by the United Service Workers completed a voting process and the majority of the collected votes were in favor of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the agreement contributes to the City's strategic goals; and WHEREAS, the agreement provides for maintaining and improving effective procedures. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry, Florida, on behalf of the City Commission, is hereby authorized to execute the collective bargaining agreement, attached as "Exhibit A", with the United Service Workers. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of the Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilit,~If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, or unlawful, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
