Community Redevelopment Agency <br />October 8, 2010 <br />Page 5 <br />Ninth Item of Business: Director's Report <br />- Casselberry Patio ~ Bar Release of Fa~yade Grant Funds <br />- ®xford Square Update <br />- Geo Tech Reports <br />Casselberry Patio ~ Sar Release of Facade Grant Funds <br />Ms. Pamela Lynch, Economic Development Coordinator, reviewed staffs memo dated October 8, 2010, (a <br />copy is on file in the Community Development Department). Ms. Lynch stated that the work has been completed and <br />requested payment of the grant funding for Casselberry's Patio & Bar. Mr. Daigle made a motion to approve <br />payment of the grant funding of $3,500. Mr. Ritchie seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br />®xford Square Update <br />Ms. Lynch reviewed staffs memo dated October 8, 2010 (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br />Department), Ms, Lynch stated that Oxford Square Ltd., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection which has <br />caused a delay in the project. She said that the work commenced on August 2010 and should be completed by mid <br />November 2010. Mr. Martin stated staff would report back to the Board upon completion of the work for the release <br />of the grant funding, <br />Geo Tech Reports <br />Mr. Martin stated that staff received the Geo Tech Reports for the Concord Center property. He said that <br />there was an issue with some compaction related to the location of the restaurant and it may require some additional <br />compaction of the soil to support the construction of the restaurant. Mr. Martin stated that he is waiting for a <br />clarification memo before the funds are released for payment. (The City has since received the clarification memo <br />and staff has processed the invoice for payment.) <br />Tenth Item of Business: Public Comments <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry <br />questioned the required paint colors for the Community Redevelopment District. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned, <br />a~ `~ <br />Joni Dixon, Secretary <br />
