Rettn•n of Conte•ibution ~ Kitttberly Schilling _ $84.22 -Fire Department <br />MOTION: Moved by Officer William Nas to approve the return of contribution of <br />~a8d.22 to Kimberly Schilling, Fire Department, as submitted. Motion was <br />seconded by Mt•. Frank Seltutte and carried ttnanimausly on a 5 _ 4 vote. <br />7. Attorne 's Re port <br />In t•esponse to question "Can an employee's tithe itt a Fire Department DROP be used to <br />purchase service credit in aut• City's Pension Plan`?" The answer was yes, since you were not <br />gelding credited service for this time, it can be purchased when yott leave employment with one <br />agency and go to another. This was verified with Patricia Shoemaker, Florida Retit•ement System. <br />Changes to the Data Base that is used to identify properties fat• insurance premium tax monies is <br />due by September 1, 2006. This update is required by State Statutes. Changes Wilk go into effect <br />in 2007. (The Board Attorney will research the tttetltodology used itt assessing premium <br />pt•operty tax monies as it pet•tains to businesses sttclt as Wal-Matt, Office Depot, etc.) <br />8. Miscellaneous <br />a} State Approval of the 2005 Annual Report - Police Officers'IFit•efghters' Pension Futtd <br />The Board of Trustees ltas received a letter from the State of Florida accepting and approving the 2005 <br />Annual Report. <br />The next meeting of the Board of Trustees is scheduled for November 1Q, 2006 at 10;00 a.nt.
