CITY OF CASSELBERRY POLICE OFFICERS' AND FIREFIGI-ITERS' PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES The Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 9S Triplet Lake Drive, Casselbercy, Florida, 32707. MEMBERS PRESENT Chief Donald Harkins, Chairman, Fire Department William Nas, Police Officer Member Chief John Pavlis, Secretary Member MEMBERS ABSENT: Frank A. Schulte, Vlce Chairman David I. Gonzalez, Member STAFF/OTHERS PRESENT Thelma McPherson, City Clerk Mark Glover, Interim Finance Director Scott Christiansen, Board Attorney Mike Welker, Bogdahn Consulting Andy Brooks, Acting Human Resources Director 1. Cali to Order witli_Plerlge of Allegiance. The February 13, 2007 Meeting of the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance by the Chairman at 10:30 a,m. in the City Half Commission Chambers. The Agenda had been duly posted and circulated to the Board Members by the City Clerk of the City of Casselbercy. 2. William Nas Seated -Second Tenn Elected Police Officer Member of the Board of Tr•cistees Notification was circulated to the members of the Police Officers in the Pension Plan that an election was scheduled for December I S, 2006 for the police member on the Board of Trustees, Sgt. William Nas was only individual declaring candidacy for the position and was declared the winner by acclamation. Sgt. Nas retains his seat on the board for a second term; effective to December 200$. A Copy of iettei• of the letter dated December 11, 200b and the Declaration of Candidacy is attached to and made a part of these minutes. 3. Rea ointment b tlke Ci Commission of Trustees Frank Schulte and David Gonzalez The City Commission of the City of Casselbercy, at their meeting of January 23, 2007, reappointed David Gonzalez and Frank Schulte to the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees for their second term; effective to January 2009. A copy of the reappointment letters are attached to and made a part of these minutes.
