RESOLUTION 10-2149
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA,
<br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING FEES FOR SPECIAL EVENTS, OPEN AIR
<br />SALES, OPEN AIR FOOD SALES, SEASONAL SALES, AND TEMPORARY
<br />STRUCTURES AS PROVIDED IN EXHIBIT 'A'; PROVIDING FOR
<br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE."
<br />WHEREAS, the permit fee schedule for Special Events, Open Air Sales, Open Air Food Sales,
<br />Seasonal Sales, and Temporary Structures is currently provided within the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter
<br />14, Amusements; and
<br />WHEREAS, the permit fees are reviewed regularly to ensure that the appropriate fee is charged; and
<br />WHEREAS, administratively it is more efficient to manage the City's fees and charges by resolution
<br />rather than codifying those fees into the City's Code of Ordinances; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that, when feasible, fees should be removed from
<br />the City Code of Ordinances; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has adopted Ordinance 10-1330 that includes the elimination of the
<br />permit fee schedule provided in Chapter 14, Amusements, Section 14-31 of Article II, Special Events, Open Air
<br />Sales, Open Air Food Sales, Seasonal Sales, and Temporary Structures; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the permit fee schedule for Special
<br />Events, Open Air Sales, Open Air Food Sales, Seasonal Sales, and Temporary Structures provided in Exhibit
<br />'A"
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
<br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION I. That the permit fee schedule for Special Events, Open Air Sales, Open Air Food Sales,
<br />Seasonal Sales, and Temporary Structures, as referenced in Exhibit "A', shall be approved and adopted.
<br />SECTION 2. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of
<br />this Resolution are hereby repealed.
<br />SECTION 3. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be
<br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any
<br />other Section or part of this Resolution.
