These
projects were
Lake Concord Park Development ($36,330)
Mast Arm Improvements ($28,152)
Roadway Banners ($7,800)
Interactive Fountain ($3,184)
The total of the rollover approved was $75,466. It was understated by $67,349. The amount for
one project was not complete and another project was omitted. The purpose of this memo is to
request approval to submit a correcting budget amendment to the City Commission for approval.
The budget for Lake Concord Park Development for Fiscal Year 2010 needs to be increased in
the amount of $41,458. The balances of two open purchase orders pertaining to the project
were incorrectly estimated as of the beginning of the new fiscal year. They were APEC -
$42,758 (P.O. 57966) and Jim's Plumbing - $800 (P.O. 60982).
The Interactive Fountain was not complete. Rollover for P.O. 57091 for WESCO needed to be
higher by $1,300.
Also the Plumosa Intersection realignment project had not been fully resolved at the end of FY
2009. P.O. 55731 (also to APEC) was open and carried into FY 2010. The amount that should
have been included in the budget rollover request for this project was $22,491.
It is requested that the CRA Board reauthorize these appropriations for FY 2010.
www.casselbeny.org
