to determine whether to prosecute said businesses for violations of Chapter 849; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, believes that these <br />businesses constitute illegal gambling houses, and that they cause all of the social problems that <br />any gambling establishment causes, and that the businesses owners should be prosecuted for <br />violations of Chapter 849. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby loges the State <br />Attorneys and the Statewide Prosecutor to work with law enforcement officers throughout the <br />state to close down the Internet cafes which are operating as gambling establishments. <br />SECTION II. The City Commission <br />Legislature to amend Chapter 849 to clearly ; <br />provide computers that operate essentially Las <br />establishments. <br />of the City of Casselberry urges the Florida <br />state that these types of establishments, which <br />Vegas-style casino games, are illegal gambling <br />SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION V. Effective Date.
