. Each resident Trustee shall <br />serve as Trustee for a period of two (2) years, unless he sooner vacates the office or is sooner <br />replaced by the Casselberry Ciry Commission at whose pleasure he shall serve. Each Member <br />Trustee shall serve as Trustee for a period of two (2) years, unless he sooner leaves the <br />employment of the Ciry as a General Employee or otherwise vacates his office as Trustee, <br />whereupon a successor shall be chosen in the same manner as the departing Trustee. Each <br />Trustee may succeed himself in office. In the event that one or both of the Member Trustee <br />seats are vaunt because a Member c?nnot or vvL not be elected to these seats the Commission <br />shall select a person to fill one or both of these seats for a one (~l vear terml~,l until a Member <br />can be elected to fill these seats. The Board shall establish and administer the nominating and <br />election procedures for each election. The Board shall meet at least quarterly each year. The <br />Board shall be a legal entity with, in addition to other powers and responsibilities contained <br />herein, the power to bring and defend lawsuits of every kind, nature, and description. <br />SECTION 3: The Ciry of Casselberry General Employees' Pension Plan, adopted by <br />ordinance 97-898 of the Ciry of Casselberry, is amended by amending Section 62-459, Vesting <br />to read as follows: <br />SECTION 62-459. VESTING. <br />If a Member terminates his employment with the Ciry, either voluntarily or by <br />discharge, and is not eligible for any other benefits under this System, the Member shall be <br />entitled to the following: <br />1. If the Member has less than ten fiY~ ~ ~ years Credited Service upon <br />termination, the Member shall be entitled to no benefit. <br />2. If the Member has ten five {~) ~ or more years of Credited Service upon <br />termination, the Member shall be entitled to a monthly retirement benefit, payable for life, <br />determined in the same manner as for normal or early retirement and based upon the Member's <br />Credited Service, Average Final Compensation and the benefit accrual rate as of the date of <br />3 <br />
