Resolution 10-2138 - Supplement No. 1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with <br />Environmental Research and Desi n Inc. <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 TO THE <br />STANDARD CONSULTANGT AGREEMENT FOR CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />STORMWATER SERVICS BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR AMBIENT LAKE <br />WATER QUALITY MONITORING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTNE DATE." <br />Introduction: Mr. Ed Torres, Public Works Director, stated Resolution I 0-2138 provides for Supplement No. <br />1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Environmental Research and Design, Inc. for ambient water <br />quality sampling for the City's lakes in the annual amount not to exceed $21,064. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding is available in Stormwater Utility Account 110-0740-539.31-00 <br />(Professional Services) to cover costs for Fiscal Year 2010. Future years will be budgeted accordingly. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />10-2138. <br />Discussion: Volunteer sampling programs, baseline data parameters and benefits of sampling were briefly <br />discussed. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to approve Resolution 10-2138, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />G. Resolution 10-2139 -Scope of Services Agreement with HDR Inc for Professional <br />Construction En~ineerin~ Inspection Services for the U S 17-92 Right-of-WaX <br />Improvements Project and Related Budget Amendment #10-034 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN HDR, INC. AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE U.S. 17-92 RIGHT-OF- <br />WAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SF,VERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Mr. Ed Torres, Public Works Director, stated Resolution 10-2139 provides for a Scope of <br />Services Agreement with HDR, Inc. to provide professional construction engineering inspection services for an <br />amount not to exceed $96,253.40 for the U.S. 17-92 Right-of--Way Improvements Project. Budget <br />Amendment # 10-034 is necessary to effect the transaction. <br />Budget Impact: Costs associated with this agreement for construction, engineering, inspection services are <br />part of the funding for the U.S. 17-92 Right-of--Way Improvements Project through a Local Agency Program <br />
