RESOLUTION 10-2140 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSAL WITH ORLANDO PAVING COMPANY AS A COOPERATIVE PURCHASE FOR THE ASPHALT PAVING OF THE RECREATION CENTER PARKING LOT AT SECRET LAKE PARK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to repair the parking lot at the Recreation Center located at Secret Lake Park, 200 North Triplet Lake Drive by repaving the surface with new asphalt; and WHEREAS, the parking lot at the Recreation Center has not been repaved in over 15 years and has visible surface abnormalities and deteriorating; and WHEREAS, the City desires to repave the Recreation Center parking lot and accepts the proposal from the Orlando Paving Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the proposal from Orlando Paving Company (attached as Exhibit A) in the amount of $18,823.75 for the purpose of asphalt paving of the Recreation Center parking lot, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution at•e hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or pot•tion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawfiil, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. /~ • da of A.D.2010.
