Budget Amendment #10-019 - Recosnition of Revenue from the Edward Byrne <br />Memorial Justice Assistance Grant FY 09/10 to Purchase Video Surveillance <br />Equipment <br />Introduction: This item seeks approval of Budget Amendment # 10-019 which recognizes grant proceeds and <br />the related expenditure for the purchase of video surveillance equipment in the amount of $14,828. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment # 10-019 recognizes the grant funds and purchase by increasing Account <br />Number 001-0000-334.22.01 (JAG Grants) and increasing Account Number 001-0610-521.67.12 (Cameras & <br />Related Equipment). There is no impact to the General Fund. <br />BA #10-019 <br />Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment recognizes the grant proceeds received through the <br />Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant and the expenditure necessary for the purchasing of video <br />surveillance equipment. It is the intent of the Police Department to purchase two (2) portable and self <br />contained video surveillance systems.
