Florida Statutes, has requested that the same be annexed and incorporated into the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, certain lands more particularly described herein below and representing less than 50% of the parcels and land area, herein listed, (Parcelld: 08-21-30-502-0S00-0000), (Parcelld: 08-21-30-502-0DOO-0000) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: The lands described in Exhibit A, inciuding the adjacent road right-of-way on Seminola Boulevard and shown on the map in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be and they are hereby annexed to and included within the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida. SECTION 2: The Corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, be and they are hereby revised to include the land described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3: The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida does hereby find the lands described in Section 1 are contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, that said meet the criteria established by Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, that said lands should be annexed and hereby consent to the annexation. SECTION 4: Upon annexation, the lands described in Section 1 shall retain a zoning and land use classification established by the Seminole County Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Land-Use Plan until otherwise changed or amended by appropriate ordinance of the City of Casselberry, Florida. SECTION 5: All real property lying within the boundaries of the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, as hereby revised, shall be assessed for payment of municipai ad valorem taxes pursuant to law. SECTION 6: All persons who have been lawfully engaged in any occupation, business, trade or profession within the area described in Section 1 above, upon the effective date of this ordinance under a valid license or permit therefore issued by Seminole County, Florida, shall have the right to continue such occupation, business, trade or profession within the entire corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, as revised, upon securing of a valid Business Tax Receipt from the City of Casselberry, which license shall be issued upon payment of the appropriate fee therefore, without the necessity of taking or passing any examination or test relating to the qualifications of such iicenses. SECTION 7: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file certified copies of this ordinance with the Department of State of the State of Florida and the Seminole County Clerk of the Circuit Court. The City Clerk is also hereby directed to file copies of this ordinance with the County Manager of Seminoie County, Ordinance 09-1307 -Page 2 of 3
