CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Glancy called the workshop of the Casselberry City Commission to order at 6:03 p.m. <br /> <br />II. RENTAL PROPERTY ORDINANCE INFORMATION <br /> <br />Presentation: Police Lieutenant Scott Pleasants gave a presentation regarding background, purpose, and <br />functionality of rental property ordinances. Police Chief Jim Ruf assisted with the presentation which gave <br />an overview of how the City ofDeltona, the City of Mount Dora and the City of Gainesville have effectively <br />implemented and operate with a rental property ordinance. The following was discussed for each ofthe three <br />cities: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Purpose of Rental Property Ordinance <br />Public Education Efforts <br />Impact of Rental Property Ordinance on Mobile/Manufactured Homes <br />Information on Registration Fees (Rental License or Tax) <br />Enforcement of Rental Property Ordinance <br />Inspection Protocols <br />Training and Certification ofInspectors <br />Necessary Manpower <br />Codes Used in Inspections <br />Resulting Budget Impact <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A copy of the presentation and agenda materials distributed are attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br />
