<br />RESOLUTION 08-1986 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING <br />APPROVAL OF THE 100% DESIGN PLANS FOR ANNIVERSARY PARK - <br />LAKE CONCORD STORMWATER PARK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the redevelopment of Anniversary Park has been considered an important <br />project for the City since 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the redevelopment of Anniversary Park is considered an important part of the <br />City Center Conceptual Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in October 2007 the City Commission and Community Redevelopment <br />Agency authorized the development of the final engineering plans for Anniversary Park - Lake <br />Concord Stormwater Park, based on previous conceptual plans; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 100% design plans for Anniversary Park - Lake Concord Stormwater Park <br />largely represent the intent of the conceptual plans; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the design of Anniversary Park - Lake Concord Stormwater Park provides for <br />an important cultural, educational, and recreational venue for the City of Casselberry; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the design of Anniversary Park - Lake Concord Stormwater Park provides for <br />stormwater retrofits designed to improve water quality for Lake Concord; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the design of Anniversary Park - Lake Concord Stormwater Park provides for <br />incorporation of several water quality, water conservation, and environmentally sound elements, <br />and the City of Casselberry has shown a long term commitment to such practices. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the 100% <br />Design Plans for Anniversary Park - Lake Concord Stormwater Park, as depicted in Exhibit "A" <br />attached herewith. <br /> <br />SECTION n. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional. it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />
