<br />Art Work Title: To Be Determined <br />Medium: Mosaic Mural <br />Artwork Size: One 13 foot diameter mosaic mural medallion <br />in wet area of the watcr play unit. <br />Description: Thc mural will dcpict the unique character of <br />Casselbcrry through mosaic design that will <br />includc floral and fern clcments. The mosaic <br />will be installed into the concrete deck of the <br />water play feature. <br /> <br />Approval of Sketches: On or before Dec 21, 2008 (may be extended if <br />re-design work is necessary) <br />Delivery: Targeted for on or before March 10,2009. <br />Installation no later than April 10,2009 <br />Delivery Address: Casselberry City Hall, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, <br />Casselberry, Florida, 32707. <br /> <br />(C) ARTIST further agrees to provide a sketch of the work to CITY. After the final <br />sketch is approved by CITY on or before December 21, 2008, sculpt, fabricate, <br />paint, deliver and install the finished Artwork for the CITY on or before April 10, <br />2009. ARTIST agrees that the Artwork will be titlcd. Acceptable subject matter <br />(themes) for the mosaic medallion includes depiction of representations of unique <br />characteristics of Casselberry. Floral and fern elements will be incorporated. <br />(D) In any public presentation or publication of this work the artist will acknowledge <br />that it was commissioned by the City of Casselberry and the Casselberry <br />Redevelopment Agency. <br />(E) All required laws, regulations, codes and ordinances will be observed. <br />(F) ARTIST will secure any and all required licenses, permits and similar legal <br />authorizations as may be necessary for the installation of the Artwork at the Site. <br />(G) ARTIST will provide a detailed maintenance and preservation plan (the <br />"Maintenance & Preservation Plan") including a description of all materials and <br />products utilized in the Artwork and the required routine care and upkeep <br />involved. <br />(H) ARTIST will attend a public presentation of the art at a mutually agreed upon <br />time within 10 months of the installation. <br />(I) ARTIST will give a lecture on his art and elements influencing its design and <br />construction. <br />(1) ARTIST shall arrange the transportation and installation of the Artwork in <br />consultation with CITY. If ARTIST does not install the Artwork him or herself, <br />ARTIST shall supervise and approve the installation. <br />(K) ARTIST shall sign a waiver form provided by the CITY. <br />(L) ARTIST shall not employ any person or subcontractors. <br /> <br />2 <br />
