RESOLUTION 08-1955 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />THE AWARD OF BID AND THE EXECUTION OF A AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND U.S. WATER SERVICES CORPORATION TO <br />PROVIDE METER READING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised for Meter Reading Services; and <br />WHEREAS, the initial term of the agreement will be for two (2) years, November 3, 2008 - <br />November 2, 2010 with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options; and <br />WHEREAS, U.S. Water Services Corporation will perform Meter Reading Services, and shall <br />be compensated as follows: <br />November 3, 2008 — November 2, 2010 <br />November 3, 2010 — November 2, 2011 <br />November 3, 2011- November 2, 2012 <br />Touch Read .535 per meter per month <br />Manual Read .740 per meter per month <br />Touch Read .556 per meter per month <br />Manual Read .760 per meter per month <br />Touch Read .579 per meter per month <br />Manual Read .780 per meter per month <br />WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent for the City of Casselberry and the Finance Director <br />have reviewed the bid of U.S. Water Services Corporation and found it to be the most responsive <br />and responsible bid and recommend approval. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />'l <br />SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby accepts the Agreement <br />with U.S. Water Services Corporation attached as "Exhibit A", and authorizes the Mayor to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION H. The City Commission hereby accepts the terms and conditions as presented in <br />said Agreement. <br />SECTION IH. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, <br />or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION V.
