<br />undertake any conduct which is contrary to Federal, State, or local law. The following terms are <br /> <br />defined as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Agreement. This written document and all written amendments to it. <br /> <br />(b) Biological Waste. Solid Waste that causes or has the capability of causing disease <br /> <br />or infection and includes, but is not limited to, biomedical waste, animals which died from <br /> <br />disease, and other wastes capable of transmitting pathogens to humans or animals. <br /> <br />(c) Biomedical Waste. Solid Waste or liquid waste which may present a threat of <br /> <br />infection to humans. Biomedical Waste includes those wastes which may cause disease or <br /> <br />harbor pathogenic organisms, including but not limited to, wastes from human and veterinary <br /> <br />clinics and hospitals, such as tissue, blood, discarded bandages, pathological specimens, <br /> <br />hypodermic needles, contaminated clothing and surgical gloves. <br /> <br />(d) Bulk Waste. Any item whose large size or weight precludes or complicates its <br /> <br />handling by normal collection, processing, or disposal methods, such as, but not limited to <br /> <br />furniture, lawn equipment and push mowers with fluids removed, furnaces, bicycles (excluding <br /> <br />motorized vehicles and motors for vehicles such as but not limited to, cars, trucks, motorcycles, <br /> <br />riding lawn mowers, and boats), or similar items not having a useful purpose to the owner or <br /> <br />abandoned by the owner and not included within the definition of Garbage. Bulk Waste does not <br /> <br />include Yard Waste or Special Waste. Bulk Waste does include material from minor household <br /> <br />repairs and minor remodeling jobs in an amount equivalent to three (3) standard garbage <br /> <br />containers or less, and must be generated by a Customer from a Dwelling Unit in Contractor's <br /> <br />Service Area. <br /> <br />(e) Calendar Year. The period between January I ofa given year and December 31 of <br />the same year during the term of this Agreement. <br /> <br />5 <br />
