<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, September 2006, at 6:30 <br /> <br />P.M., in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet <br /> <br />Drive, <br /> <br />Florida. <br /> <br />Members present were: <br /> <br />Hal Billerbeck, Chairman <br />Ed Bowman, Vice-Chairman <br />Jonathon Miller <br />Mary Anne Gauvin <br />Earl McMullen <br />Luis Guzman (alternate) <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br /> <br />Sandra Smith, Acting Community Development Director <br />Charles Senzee, Planner <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, August 24, 2006. <br /> <br />Mr. Billerbeck stated the Chair would entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes for the public hearing <br /> <br />held on Thursday, August 24, 2006. Mr. McMullen moved to accept the August 2006 minutes. Mr. Miller seconded <br /> <br />the motion. Motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Second Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. <br /> <br />There was no disclosure of ex-parte communications. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: BA 06-12: RGP Tower GrouD. Variance request to Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2-7.22 <br />Table 3(b) "Communication Tower Separation from Off-Site Uses/Designated Areas", to grant: <br /> <br />1. A 352-foot encroachment into the separation requirements from the mixed use zoned property, <br />including residential to the south, creating a 38-foot separation in lieu of the required 390 foot <br />separation (300% of the height of the 130' tall tower). <br />2. A 105 1;4 -foot encroachment into the separation requirements from the mixed use zoned property, <br />including residential to the east, creating a 284 foot separation in lieu of the required 390 foot <br />separation (300% of the height of the 130' tall tower). <br />The property for which the variance is requested is located at 1548 Seminola Blvd in Casselberry, <br />Florida. <br />
