<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, July 27,2006, at 6:30 P.M., in <br /> <br />the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />Members present were: <br /> <br />Jonathon Miller <br />Hal Billerbeck <br />Ed Bowman <br />Earl McMullen <br />Luis Guzman (alternate) <br /> <br />Members absent were: <br /> <br />Mary Anne Gauvin <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br /> <br />Charles Senzee, Planner <br />Matt Dorsten, Planner <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, June 22, 2006. <br /> <br />Mr. BilIerbeck stated the Chair would entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes for the public hearing <br /> <br />held on Thursday, June 22,2006. Mr. McMullen moved to accept the June 22,2006 minutes. Mr. Guzman seconded the <br /> <br />motion. Mr. Bowman abstained from voting because he was not in attendance at the June 22, 2006 meeting. The <br /> <br />motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Second Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex-Parte communications. <br /> <br />There was no disclosure of ex-parte communications. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: BA 06.08: 1024 Crystal Bowl Circle. Karen and Steve Berg. Variance request toChapter <br />II, Article VII, Section 2-7.7 and Table 2-5.4 "Size and Dimension Regulations," to grant a 1.5-foot encroachment <br />into a side yard building setback, creating a 8.5-foot side yard in lieu of the required 1 ()'foot side yard. The <br />property is located at 1024 Crystal Bowl Circle, Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />Mr. BilIerbeck asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Karen Berg, 1024 Crystal Bowl Circle, Casselberry, <br /> <br />Florida, came forward. Ms. Berg stated they would like to increase the size of their home because they have six children. <br /> <br />Ms. Berg stated that the architect's plans follow the line of the existing house. She said she thought she had an 8 foot <br />
