<br />City Commission Meeting <br />April 28, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />reduction in red light running fatalities in Washington, DC during the first two years of the program. <br />The main focus ofthe Red Light Enforcement Program is safety and will enhance the Police <br />Department's ability to enforce red light running infractions. There is proposed legislation that will <br />establish requirements for the State, Counties and Municipalities for the use of Red Light Camera <br />Systems. The City will move forward with a proposal when the legislation is approved. <br /> <br />D. Departmental Presentation - 2007 Annual Report to the Citizens by Steve Olson, <br />Community Relations <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Annual Report was presented by Steve Olson. The report as submitted is <br />attached to and made a part of these Minutes. The report will also be available for review on the <br />City's website. <br /> <br />7. Citizens' Comments <br /> <br />This is the time set aside for persons who wish to make comment or make inquiry on any matter <br />not on the Agenda. The following individuals came forward: <br /> <br />1) Craig Tull, 420 Ranch Trail, Casselberry, Florida, reiterated his strong objections to the <br />recently enacted parking ordinance, stating that the ordinance was not being enforced by the City <br />and he reported that there were seventeen (17) violations within a three block area in his <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />8. Consent Agenda <br /> <br />A. Special Invoice and Minor Contracts Report <br /> <br />Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta <br />. City Attorney Legal Services for March 2008 - $13,356.30 <br />. Rowan South Construction Lawsuit for March 2008 - $1,892.79 <br /> <br />B. Resolution 08-1878 - Modification to the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent <br />Association, Police Officers and Sergeants Collective Bargaining Agreement <br /> <br />The modification is a requirement for an Annual Physical Examination to be completed by May <br />31" of each year. The physical will provide an opinion as to the employee's capacity to engage in <br />law enforcement duties and will attest that the employee meets the medical requirements of the <br />position and is medically fit to perform its duties. <br /> <br />"A Resolution of the City of Casselberry, Florida, ratifying an amendment to the Collective <br />Bargaining Agreement between the City of Casselberry and the Coastal Florida Police <br />Benevolent Association, Police Officers and Sergeants; providing for conflicts, severability and <br />effective date. " <br /> <br />C. Resolution 08-1879 - Amendment I to Supplement No. 20 of the Continuing Consulting <br />Engineering Services Contract with CPH Engineers, Inc. for bidding assistance and <br />construction administration services in connection with the South Treatment Plan forced <br />draft aeration and odor control system project. <br />
