WHEREAS, thc provisions of this Ordinance and thc actions takcn hercin arc consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and State law; and \VHEREAS, public hearings were held pursuant to the rcquiremcnts of State law and in confonllity with the published notice described above at which hcarings the parties in intercst and all others had an opportunity to bc and were, in fact, heard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Scction I. The lands described in Schcdulc A and shown on the map in Schcdule B (Parcel #08- 21-30-511-0000-0010 plus adjacent roadways), attached hercto, be and thcy arc hcrcby anncxcd to and included within the corporate limits ofthc City ofCassclbcrry, Florida. Scction 2. Thc Corporate limits of the City of Casselbcrry, Florida, bc and thcy arc hcrcby rcviscd to inelude thc land dcscribcd in Scction I hcrcof Scction 3. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida docs hercby find that thc lands dcscribcd in Scction I arc contiguous to the COrporate limits of the City of Cassclberry, Florida, that said lands mcet thc critcria establishcd by Chapter 171, Florida Statutcs, that said lands should bc annex cd, and hcreby consent to thc anncxation. Section 4. Upon anncxation, the lands dcscribed in Section 1 shall retain a zoning and land usc classification established by thc Scminolc County Zoning Ordinancc and Comprchcnsivc Land Usc Plan until otherwisc changcd or amcnded by appropriatc ordinancc of the City of Cassclbcrry, Florida. Section 5. All real propcrty lying within thc boundarics of the COrporatc limits of thc City of CasscIbcrry, Florida, as hereby reviscd, shall bc asscsscd for payment of municipal ad 1'{[/orclI1 taxes pursuant to law. Scction 6. All pcrsons who havc bccn lawfully cngagcd in any occupation, busincss, tradc or profcssion within the arca described in Scction 1 above, upon thc cffectivc datc of this Ordinance undcr a valid Iiccnse or pcnnit thcrcforc issucd by Scminolc County, Florida, shall havc thc right to continue such occupation, busincss, tradc or profession within the entirc corporate limits of thc City of Casselbcrry, as rcviscd, upon thc securing of a valid occupational liccnsc from thc City of Cassclbcrry, which liccnsc shall bc issucd upon pa)~ncnt of the appropriatc fcc thcrcforc, ",rithout thc ncccssity of taking or passing any additional examination or tcst relating to thc qualifications of such liccnscs.
