<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, March 27,2008, at 6:30 P.M., <br /> <br />in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />Members present were: <br /> <br />Ed Bowman, Chairman <br />Mary Anne Gauvin, Vice-Chairman <br />Earl McMullen <br />Arlin Armour <br />Luis Guzman <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br /> <br />Charles Senzee, Planner <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, February 28, 2008. <br /> <br />Mr. Bowman stated the Chair would entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes for the public hearing held <br /> <br />on Thursday, February 28, 2008. Mr. McMullen moved to accept the February 28, 2008 minutes. Mr. Guzman seconded <br /> <br />the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Second Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. <br /> <br />There was no disclosure of ex-parte communications. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: BA 08-02: 410 Diane Circle. Variance request to Table 2-5.4 "Size and Dimension <br />Regulations" to allow a 15 foot rear setback in lieu of the required 20 foot rear setback. <br /> <br />Mr. Bowman asked the applicant to come forward. In response to Mr. Bowman's question, the applicant said he <br /> <br />would prefer the City make their presentation at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Senzee, Planner, reviewed the background information and the analysis ofthe request, provided in <br /> <br />his memorandum to the Board of Adjustment, dated March 21, 2008 (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br /> <br />Department). Mr. Senzee said he was contacted by one of the adjacent property owners regarding the variance request <br /> <br />and he had no objections to the variance. <br /> <br />Mr. Senzee stated the variance application meets 4 of the 6 criteria for granting the variance; therefore, City staff <br />
