<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 6:30 P.M., in the <br /> <br />Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />Members present were: <br /> <br />Mary Anne Gauvin, Vice-Chairman <br />Earl McMullen <br />Arlin Armour <br />Luis Guzman <br /> <br />Members absent were: <br /> <br />Ed Bowman, Chairman <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br /> <br />Charles Senzee, Planner <br />Stephen Noto, Planner <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, April 24, 2008. <br /> <br />Ms. Gauvin stated the Chair would postpone the approval of the minutes for the April 24, 2008 meeting until July <br /> <br />meeting due to a clarification that is needed from Mr. Bowman. <br /> <br />Second Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. <br /> <br />There was no disclosure of ex-parte communications. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the scheduled time for the meeting. It was the consensus of the Board for the <br /> <br />meeting start time to remain at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: SA 08..06: 413 Misty Oaks Run. Variance requests to Table 2-5.4 "Size and Dimension <br />Regulations", and the established regulations for the lake Griffin Estates Planned Residential Development to allow: <br /> <br />1) A 5.0 foot reduction in the required 5 foot pool and screen room setback, resulting in 0.0 foot rear <br />setback for a proposed pool and screen enclosure. <br />2) An increase in the allowed amount of impervious surface area from 56% to approximately 69%. <br /> <br />Ms. Gauvin asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Chad Miller and Ms. Jodi Miller, 473 Misty Oaks Run, Casselberry, <br /> <br />Florida came forward. Ms. Miller said the setback requirement allows for the construction of a pool; however, she was concerned <br /> <br />that the pool would be extremely small. She said the variance request is to allow for the construction of a larger pool. <br />
