CITY OF CASSELBERRY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 6:30 P.M., in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Members present were: Mary Anne Gauvin, Vice-Chairman Earl McMullen Arlin Armour Luis Guzman Members absent were: Ed Bowman, Chairman Staff members present: Charles Senzee, Planner Stephen Noto, Planner Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, April 24, 2008. Ms. Gauvin stated the Chair would postpone the approval of the minutes for the April 24, 2008 meeting until July meeting due to a clarification that is needed from Mr. Bowman. Second Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. There was no disclosure of ex-parte communications. A brief discussion ensued regarding the scheduled time for the meeting. It was the consensus of the Board for the meeting start time to remain at 6:30 p.m. Third Item of Business: SA 08..06: 413 Misty Oaks Run. Variance requests to Table 2-5.4 "Size and Dimension Regulations", and the established regulations for the lake Griffin Estates Planned Residential Development to allow: 1) A 5.0 foot reduction in the required 5 foot pool and screen room setback, resulting in 0.0 foot rear setback for a proposed pool and screen enclosure. 2) An increase in the allowed amount of impervious surface area from 56% to approximately 69%. Ms. Gauvin asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Chad Miller and Ms. Jodi Miller, 473 Misty Oaks Run, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Ms. Miller said the setback requirement allows for the construction of a pool; however, she was concerned that the pool would be extremely small. She said the variance request is to allow for the construction of a larger pool.
