Exhibit "A" PROJECT NO. 0804 SECTION 00500 AGREEMENT 1. THIS AGREEMENT, made as of the J.!i!!!. day of X..ll ~ ' 2008, by and between the City of Casselberry, Florida, hereinafter called the wner and American Persian Engineers & Constructors. Inc. /APEC), hereinafter called the Contractor, WITNESSETH, that the Owner and the Contractor, for the considerations stated herein, agree as follows: 2. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall provide and furnish all of the necessary labor, supervision, material, tools, expendable and permanent equipment, and all utility and transportation services required to perform and complete in a workmanlike manner, all of the work described as: "PLUMOSA A VENUE A T US 17-92 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT" for the City of Casselberry, Florida. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Drawings & Specifications prepared by the City of Casselberry Engineering Division, hereinafter called the Engineer, and in strict compliance with the Contractor's Proposal as accepted, including any amendments agreed upon at the time of execution of this Agreement, and with the other Contract Documents herein mentioned which are a part of this Agreement. 3. THE CONTRACT PRICE The Owner shall pay to the Contractor, and the Contractor shall accept, in full payment for the performance of this Agreement, subject to any additions or deductions provided for hereby, based upon unit prices provided in the proposal attached hereto, in current funds, the Total Aggregate Amount shall not exceed the sum of: ONE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONE DOLLARS and 20/CENTS /$1,429.501.20) as unit price contract. Payments are to be made to the Contractor in accordance with and subject to the provisions embodied in the other documents, which are a part of this Agreement. 00500 - 1 City of Casselberry Version 8/00
