RESOLUTION 08-1904 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR RED <br />LIGHT RUNNING CAMERA ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM <br />SERVICES WITH AMERICAN TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS, INC., <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITI', AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, American Traffic Solutions, Inc. has been selected to provide red light <br />camera enforcement system services by the City of Palm Coast under the competitive <br />procurement process under RFP-CM-07-02; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to retain American Traffic Solutions, <br />Inc., for the services identified in the Palm Coast, Florida Request for Proposal (RFP) and <br />description of services outlined in Exhibit "A" which outlines two phases of the work; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to employ American Traffic Solutions, <br />Inc. for the performance to support the public safety activities, programs, and projects for <br />the City upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, and American Traffic Solutions, <br />Inc. is desirous of performing and providing such services upon said terms and conditions; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, American Traffic Solutions, Inc. will receive a fee of $40.00 per <br />citation for the scope of work and services being performed; and <br />WHEREAS, American Traffic Solutions, Inc. warrants and represents to the City of <br />Casselberry that it is competent and otherwise able to provide professional and high quality <br />services to the City; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CI1'I' OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />contract agreement with American Traffic Solutions, Inc, attached as Exhibit "A", and <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with <br />any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this <br />Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to <br />invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this <br />Resolution. <br />
