CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes or July 14, Z008 - Regular Meeting Page 14 of14 Director, stated the restriction was put on place because numerous complaints had been received about sight visibility issues with the newly installed magnolia trees. Mr. Torres noted that people are not seeing the sign that indicates that no right turn on red is permitted and they are performing the wind load calculations to move that sign to the mast arm. Mr. Torres stated he is available to speak directly to and address concerns of citizens regarding this matter. Voiced concerns regarding consistency in code enforcement. Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat No.2: Reported a Seminole County Alliance meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16th at 3:30 p.m. at the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Noted he is unable to attend the meeting and asked if anyone wanted to attend in his absence. Vice Mayor Hufford indicated she would try to attend the meeting. Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No.3: No report. Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford - Seat No.4: Inquired if the City Commission wanted to request that the Community Redevelopment Agency readdress their district's standards regarding check cashing/payday loan businesses. Discussion ensued regarding imposing further restrictions on check cashing/payday loan businesses within the CRA or possible reconsideration of Ordinance 08- 1247 on first reading to address some ofthe CRA placement concerns. No consensus was reached on either matter. Mayor Bob Goff - Seat No.5: No report. 18.
