<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 9, 2008 - Workhsop <br />Page 2; of2 <br /> <br />Manager and the Finance Director recommended that the City Commission not increase the pension <br />multiplier due to the financial impact to the City. The City Manager encouraged the Pension Board to <br />consider "share" programs in which the employees match excess state funds or allow the employees to <br />increase their contributions to the fund to effect pension benefit enhancements. <br /> <br />City Commission Discussion: Ms. Lipscomb requested direction from the City Commission regarding the <br />requested enhancements. Commissioner Doerner and Commissioner Miller requested more information <br />regarding implementing a DROP for the plan and was not in favor of increasing the multiplier. <br />Commissioner Solomon and Vice Mayor Hufford requested more information on the DROP, to request the <br />Pension Board readdress "share" programs, and were not in favor of increasing the multiplier. Mayor Goff <br />requested more information on the DROP and "share" programs. <br /> <br />III.
