Community Redevelopment Agency
July 11, 2008
Page 6 016

Eleventh Item of Business: Director's Report

Mr. Paradise reviewed the Director's Report dated July 7, 2008 (a copy is on file in the Community Development

Department).

Twelfth Item of Business: Public Comments

Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry questioned

the correction to the deed for the Target outparcel. Mr. Paradise stated that the Triplet Lake Intersection Improvement Project

delayed the correction of ownership of the parcel from the City to the CRA. Mr. Casselberry felt changing the access to

Sunset would benefit the traffic flow on Button Road. Mr. Casselberry suggested widening Oxford Road to accommodate two

southbound lanes. Mr. Casselberry felt the City should request funding assistance from Florida Department of Transportation

(FOOT) for intersection improvement projects. Mr. Casselberry felt the installation of a traffic circle at Oxford Road and

Fernwood Boulevard would improvement traffic in the area.

Mr. Hank Lander, 445 Surrey Run, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Lander offered the eRA $250,000 for the

purchase of the two outparcels in front of Target. He said the proposed plan is to construct a 16,000 square foot building with

2 - 3 stories and an estimated completion within 5 years. The CRA Board requested Mr. Lander provide a written real estate

offer to the Board for their review. A brief discussion ensued regarding the appraised value of the property.

Thirteenth Item of Business: Adjourn

There being no further business to come before the Board, the

Tapes of the meeting are available as a matter of public
