<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Community Redevelopment Agency held a public meeting on Friday, February 22, <br />2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Casselberry Police Station, 4195 South US Highway 17/92, <br /> <br />Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />Members present: <br /> <br />Paul Daigle, Chairman <br />John Jones, Vice Chairman <br />David McGregor <br />Cynthia Campbell <br />Charlene Duprat <br /> <br />Members absent: <br /> <br />Ken Hoffmann <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br /> <br />Gerald Paradise, Community Development Director <br />Barbara Lipscomb, City Manager <br />Joni Dixon, Secretary <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mr. Daigle at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Second Item of Business: Approval of CRA Minutes of January 11, 2008 and February 8, 2008. <br /> <br />Mr. Daigle made a motion to approve the January 11, 2008 minutes. Mr. Jones seconded the motion. The <br /> <br />motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Daigle made a motion to approve the February 8, 2008 minutes. Mr. McGregor seconded the motion. <br /> <br />The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: Financial Update <br /> <br />Mr. Randy Newlon, Finance Director, distributed and reviewed the CRA Finance Report for month ending <br /> <br />January 31, 2008 and the Seminole County Casselberry CRA Residential vs. Commercial Real Property Taxable <br /> <br />Values printout (copies are attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Newlon explained the impact of the <br /> <br />passage of Amendment 1. He said the homestead exemption was increased from $25,000 to $50,000, created a <br />
