He explained City/County logos would be used to distinguish the <br /> <br />jurisdiction of the sign. <br /> <br />Mr. Metsopoulos said he is attending a meeting today to discuss a rubber-based trolley from Fern <br /> <br />Park to the rail station. He said Mr. Gisclar, Assistant Public Works Director, is also at1ending the meeting <br /> <br />to discuss expanding the rubber-based trolley to include the City Center in the trolley loop. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the differences between rubber-based trolley, light rail <br /> <br />systems and heavy rail systems. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: PBS&J Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Torres, Public Works Director, said PBS&J was hired to design the architectural enhancements <br /> <br />for the US 17-92 Flyover. Mr. Torres said the funding of the project has been postponed until 2025; <br /> <br />however, the full design plans will be completed in July 2008. <br /> <br />Mr. Torres said they have been working with Congressman Mica and his staff to discuss alternative <br /> <br />funding for the US 17-92 Flyover Project. He said a funding request letter has been sent to eongressman <br /> <br />Mica for the US 17-92 Flyover Project, the US 17-92 widening from Shepard Road to Lake Mary Boulevard <br /> <br />and a request for $3 million for a parking garage for the City Center Project for commuter rail and municipal <br /> <br />parking. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoffmann arrived at the meeting at 9:15 a.m. <br /> <br />Mr. David Larson, PBS&J, provided a PowerPoint presentation regarding the US Highway 17-92 <br /> <br />Flyover Project (a copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). A brief <br /> <br />discussion ensued regarding the existing and proposed locations of the utility lines. <br /> <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, easselberry, Florida questioned the US 17-92 <br /> <br />Flyover construction costs, size of bridge, expansion capability of the bridge and construction design. Mr. <br /> <br />Casselberry suggested a possible construction design that could be used to reduce the cost of the project. <br /> <br />Fourth Item of Business: Old Business <br /> <br />· Real Estate acquisition and disposition update Rubin Property <br />
