CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING MARCH 13, 2008 PAGE 4 CE-07-02426 No Building permit 1-4.3 251 Triplet Lake Drive Silva, David & Natalie (owners) Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor, gave the Board Members a summary of this case. Mr. Brown stated that as of 03!l312007 a Building Pennit has not been applied for and this case was not in compliance. The City is requesting a fine be accessed. Secretary Jones advised that the property owners were in the audience. Richard L. Henderson asked if the owner had been swom in. Debra Babb-Nutcher swore in the property owner. Mr. Henderson advised that the case was not to be reheard and that they were there to find out why the property owner has not come into compliance. David Thomas Silva, 251 Triplet Lake Drive, addressed the Board. Mr. Henderson asked Mr. Silva why he has not come into compliance. Mr. Silva stated that it was complicated, when he purchased the property 4.5 years ago it had a shed in the back with a separate garage and it's in bad shape. Mr. Silva decided to start fixing it, however after looking into it he discovered it was not worth fixing so he started adding to it in the back, and that's where the complaint is coming from. Mr. Silva stated that he did not obtain the Building Pennit. Mr. Silva stated that when he got cited he made. Some inquires as to getting an engineer since engineered drawings were needed of it as per the City. He then stated that is was very diftlcult tor him to find somebody who would give an engineered drawing after the structure was already 80% built. Mr. Silva stated that he and his family \vere sick during the last hearing and he had also thought it was the day after the hearing really was. Mr. Silva continued. Discussion. Mr. Silva continued.
